nanmoe
Hello! I need to do my visa extension in Chiang Mai next week (covid extension for tourist visa). Apparently, they give a 14 days 'under consideration' stamp before giving the real visa. The thing is that on February 1, I need to move to Phuket, so I will not be able to go to Chiang Mai immigration after the 14 days. Can I get my final visa in Phuket even if the 'under consideration' stamp is coming from Chiang Mai?

ubonjoe
You have to go to the office that accepted your 60 day covid 19 extension application on the report back date to get your extension stamp. When does your current permit to stay end?
nanmoe
My current visa ends on January 29. If I explain the situation to the immigration officer, do you think it's something negociable? For my previous extension, they didn't give me the under consideration stamp. They gave me directly my final visa.
Caldera
It's not possible to go to another office to get your final stamp. Either move to Phuket a few days earlier and apply there, or apply in Chiang Mai and return to that office for the final stamp.
