thedemon
New Zealand recognizes dual/multiple citizenship. Thailand doesn't recognize it but doesn't forbid it either. When entering/departing NZ, your wife would be required to use her NZ passport. When entering Thailand she could choose which passport to use but must then depart using the same passport. If entering Thailand using the NZ passport she would then be subject to the same immigration entry requirements as any other NZ citizen though extensions of stay are easier. Most people in this situation would use their NZ passport to exit NZ then switch to the Thai passport for entry to Thailand and vice versa on the return trip.
