Pattaya massage shops ready to open at the end of the month, industry leader

The head of the massage and spa association in the East of Thailand hopes that restrictions on the opening of such facilities will be lifted at the end of this month.

 

The comments of Chairat Rattanophat come after 13 kinds of businesses in Bangkok including spas and massage were allowed to open their doors.

 

Chairat and other business leaders have pressed their case to the Chonburi authorities. He believes the marked improvement in the pandemic numbers will bring relief.

 

He expects a change from the red zone to another color.

 

Throughout the first and up to the second wave of the pandemic his members had always behaved responsibly not wanting to be named in any timelines of infection.

 

He said their protocols were exemplary and was expecting massage to be available once again in Pattaya and elsewhere in Chonburi.

Sure if you sit on a bar stool on a bar in a massage area, that will be an entire afternoon of entertainment as they all fight each other for customers

A good masseur is usually busy. Most Thais have regular massages. In Pattaya there are loads of foreigners..Dunno where they've come from.
