Thailand's crackdown on online gambling continued with two raids on addresses in Chiang Mai - action against a big player in betting circles.

A group led by provincial commander Pol Maj-Gen Phichet Jiranantasin went to four story business premises in the downtown Chang Pheuak area.

A dive school was open on the ground floor but ten workers - six men and four women - were working at computers on the third and fourth floors taking bets.

A house was also raided in Nong Jom, Sansai where a further three arrests were made making a total of 13.

Those behind the operation that has connections with Bangkok and Phuket are being sought.

There were 1,000 customers on the books and ten million in turnover using the address www.ISA888.com.

Were they learning to dive in a pool and then the Pai River..Thought Dive schools were near an ocean location, but then what would I know as I obtained my PADI certifications on Cebu in the PI.

Seriously, it could have been a dive school. The North of Thailand has many lakes, rivers and mountains and many of the latter have extensive underground cave systems for exploration. Remember Tham Luang Cave and the rescue of the Wild Boar Football lads - it was qualified divers in the first instance who reached them and with additional qualified divers rescued them. There is a scuba diving centre listed for Chiang Mai but whether it is open these days I have no idea. Diving schools are not just limited to the southern seaside resorts.

Why were the Thai football team in the cave, how did they get stuck and where is Tham Luang?

Not surprisingly business a little slow in a Dive Shop in Chiang Mai.

Think they could have come up with a better "facade"

That's how they caught these guys.  The school actually had people going in...

Should have done a face whitening clinic...
