giddyup
I have a couple of old tablets that I want to dispose of, but I'm loathe to just put them in the rubbish bin. I'm also concerned about any sensitive info. like bank details and passwords possibly being accessed. So what methods of disposal are recommended? robblok
Hi, You can either do a factory reset and erase all data or just take a hammer and destroy it. I am sure nobody will go through the problems of restoring and getting your data. Safest is factory reset.

So a hammer may be the only option. There's also the problem of disposal, do they just go in a landfill or can they be recycled? To be honest never worried about that there are so many people going through the trash that things will get separated anyway.
