The school director in southern Thailand who a M3 parent says raped her daughter and who brought a gun to school assembly has presented himself to police - and given lots of excuses.

"A", the director of Thepha school in Songkhla, went to the local police where he was charged with child rape, abduction of a minor, indecency and bringing a gun.

He was allowed bail in the sum of 500,000 baht, the surety being that allowed of a civil servant.

Then he spoke to the press.

He said that society should wait to hear all the facts before condemning him. In a 30 year unblemished career he had always done his best.

He loved all children as if they were his own.

He resigned because of the serious nature of the charges against him. He will clear his name later.

Regarding the gun he said that he had never got used to wearing one in his waistband.

It was slipping down all the time and his trousers were not made to hold a weapon.

As he was anjusting his position, feeling uncomfortable with the gun there, he must have revealed it to the assembly.

Daily News did not report why a school director would feel the need to wear a gun inside his trousers to school.

The case continues with both disciplinary and criminal charges pending.

the excuses are always the best entertainment

He raped a primary school girl and carried / showed a gun at school in front of all students.

Whatever positive he may have done (his opinion) / had done his best (words are cheap) is meaningless and have no bearing whatever on the current very serious actions / situation.
