rooster59 Posted February 14, 2021 Share Posted February 14, 2021 Nan-based army units get forest fire fighting training Tanakorn Sangiam NAN (NNT) - Forest fire and haze are the two disasters that commonly occur in the dry season in addition to water shortages. To be prepared this year, army units in Nan have been training their personnel in fighting forest fires, and haze prevention and mitigation. The 38th Military Circle Commander, Maj Gen Russamontree Jinasen has officiated at a forest fire and haze disaster prevention and mitigation training course at Suriyapong Camp in Nan. The training was provided by tutors and a team of firefighters from Doi Phu Kha National Park, giving trainees practical knowledge about forest fire management.
