Popular Post J Town
I don't get it. I understand the Chinese take a long term look at things, but at this moment there isn't more than about 20% occupancy in any condo in Jomtien, and there are two big projects on the beach that seem to have been halted - Casablanca and another near Reflection. Perhaps they're getting a dirt cheap price on the whole deal. 2

What do they want? A thank you or fuc-ing us and throwing a little cash back at us? Future planning, like their empty cities all over China, they need somewhere to vacation As an old chinese warrior said centuries ago, take over a countrys' education, finances and no shots have to be fired Edited February 16, 2021 by RJRS1301

This new project was announced over a year ago - I remember reading about it in January 2020. I guess they’ve now got the Chinese to stump up the money to actually build it.
Isaan sailor
Give them credit, since it seems like part of the big picture. Chinese Yuan and Thai Baht keep rising as most western currencies fall. Chinese money will buy key properties to extend their reach into Thailand.
Popular Post AhFarangJa
Not a face mask between them, yet according to many local provinces not wearing a mask = thousands of Baht fines.....obviously money talks, and non so loud as Chinese money. Megasin1
lol...so we are about 10 years away from the new Taiwan/Hong Kong situation, but at least it should be good business for Chinese wedding photographers on the beach and also could be an easy solution for the Chinese woman shortage although they will have to get their skates on to resolve the issue in this generation. ????
