Great advice!

I tried it for Bangkok and I found a couple of useful links.

For some products that is very good advice for others not so much, specially if you go to HardwareHouse Bangna. They carry the most amazing range of products. Some of those ranges will not be beaten even by specialist suppliers. Naturally there are other ranges of products where a specialist supplier will have a wider and often better items.

The difficulty is in finding the supplier of the item you want specially since many don’t have much, or any, web presence.

I see Bangna is their head office.  Do you know if all their stores have as much selection as the Bangna branch?

It appears that Nakorn Sawan is the closest branch to CM (where I live).

Sorry, no. I’ve only been to Bangna.
I haven’t checked the area covered but it’s probably over twice the size of any other store I’ve been to now it has just been expanded

Thanks... I will definitely make a trip there.  My wife has family in the area and we plan a visit in the next couple of months.  I'll reserve several hours to browse.

And better go there before your wife visits the family. ????

Really it’s better to go while she visits family as a few hours conversation is nothing and you get the time for browsing. Specially in that store as you will see many products you didn’t know existed, and probably a few you can’t resist buying.

The Bangna store is midway between two sets of in-laws.  I am planning on stopping there during the trip from one set to the other.

We're building a new house and the wife definitely has opinions about how it should be finished.  She will appreciate the opportunity to see as many choices as possible.  She has lived in US for 48 years and is accustomed to well designed and finished homes.

That’s the wrong place to go to for furnishings CDC is the place for that, incidentally it’s one of the few MrKen showrooms
