kwonitoy
On the ring road travelling west towards the airport they are assembling a 747 aircraft for some purpose. Anyone have any ideas or information? Tourist attraction, or I'm thinking a restaurant.
4MyEgo
That would be the one that was sitting at the airport for years, now probably going to be striped for metal ? Could be turned into accommodation if one had money, time and patience. Edited February 19, 2021 by 4MyEgo

Patong2021
Could be for TV or advertising production. I don't think they would use for fire & safety training purposes as such a concept is maybe too foreign.

foreverlomsak
Maybe they are going to arrange a "beam me up Scottie" transfer between it and the one adjacent to Soi 6 Pattaya, save many hours in a bus.

There are a lot of old airplanes in Thailand that are converted to cafes, bars, clubs, restaurants. Currently travelling around in Thailand. Seen two in Bangkok (Na-Oh Bangkok, 747 Cafe), the already mentioned "Diamond Cafe" near Chiang Mai, "Coffee War" near Pattaya plus some random old airplanes with no use in the middle of nowhere
