PHUKET: Phuket Vice Governor Phichet Panapong has explained some of the control measures in place at the Sri Panwa resort, where the island’s first travel bubble ‘villa quarantine’ foreign tourists, who arrived on Sunday, are observing a 14-day quarantine before being allowed to travel freely within Thailand.

(Reuters) - Myanmar's military-appointed foreign minister flew into Thailand on Wednesday, a Thai government source said, as Myanmar's neighbours intensified efforts to resolve a crisis that began when its army seized power in a Feb. 1 coup.

Nine high-risk provinces to receive the first lot of 200,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Several lawmakers and rights groups on Wednesday called on Malaysia's government to explain its deportation of more than 1,000 Myanmar nationals, despite a court-ordered stay, with some saying the move could amount to contempt of court.

Phuket to receive first delivery of COVID vaccine

PHUKET:-- Phuket will receive its first 4,000 doses of the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine by the end of this month, Vachira Phuket Hospital Director Dr Chalermpong Sukontapol has announced.
