Are you using the package or do you want to simply extend the expiry date of SIM validity?
Moncul 29
I had problems using my card on AIS. Ended up using a site called thaiprepaidcard.com Cost bt159 to add a year. It literally send a series of Bt10 topups, as I got the SMS for each one. Great value for the peace of mind.

And you can receive OTP (SMS) to your Thai SIM? I so, of course you can do "Mobile top-up" in the banking. Otherwise in-laws in Thailand can easily top-up any prepaid number. Misc ways (vending machines, self-service machines at AIS service center, at their banks ATM etc. etc.). All they need is your number. Each 20 Baht top-up at the AIS machine add another month of validity (up to one year). Edited February 24 by KhunBENQ
