Popular Post webfact
Thai PM set to get first jab - AstraZeneca - as first batch of two vaccines arrive today Picture: Sanook Health minister and Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told the press after a MoPH meeting yesterday that the first batches of Covid-19 vaccine would arrive today. There are 117,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine and the rest are Sinovac from China, reported Sanook. Elsewhere it was reported that there are 200,000 doses of Sinovac in the first batch. PM Prayuth Chan-ocha will get the first dose, said Anutin, "because he is our leader". He denied there was any favoritism connected to this. "Lung Too" as Sanook referred to Prayuth, will be getting the AstraZeneca jab. Anutin said this one didn't have any restrictions related to age. Dr Opas will be announcing the date of the PM's jab. Anutin claimed that the AstraZeneca vaccine would have arrived earlier, even last month, but the firm had been concerned by what he called a "drama" at the end of last year and "didn't dare" send it. The health minister's comments can be seen in the context of criticism aimed at the Thai government for the slow rollout of vaccine, notes Thaivisa. Popular Post DirtyHarry55
Bet they knew the PM would be getting the AstraZeneca vaccine when they announced the PM would be first to get the Sinovac vaccine. Or is it just look they happen to arrive at the same time and they know nothing? 2 1

Popular Post DirtyHarry55
BIG PR event at the the Airport to welcome the arrival of Sinovac Vac from China on Thai Airways. Just hope the Chinese aren't too offended when the PM gets the AstraZenteca Vac instead. No PR for the arrival of the AstraZenteca Vac?? Never mind I'm sure they won't be offended. https://twitter.com/ThaiEnquirer/status/1364423015031660544?s=20 Edited February 24, 2021 by DirtyHarry55 2

You'd be happy too to stop making up daily stories about vaccine arrivals. Next, Italia-Thai concrete efficacy. But why is a wannabe engineer the Health Minister? Ah, marijuana is medicine. Prayut: "But so many stoned?" Anutin: "So they'll never miss their money." Prayut: "And votes ... ?" "Ah, ha ha ha ha ha!", they both laughed.

KhunG
Just yesterday they came out right here on TV and said Sinovac is limited to ages 18-59, so the PM can't take it. But so many TV commenters will take any excuse to hate on anything Thai. 1
Popular Post Patong2021
Sadly, I am not surprised. Let all the fans and supporters of China First policy take Sinovac product. The military generals should lead by example.

Sinovac published information in Lancet earlier in month saying product is as effective and as safe for 60+ as it is for younger. Please do not make excuse. The at risk group is 60 year old+. The high priority groups for vaccine are health care providers so they do not spread disease and can still work, and the elderly who are most at risk for severe illness and death. The catch is that there is no evidence that Sinovac vaccine reduces spread of disease like the mRNA vaccines.. KannikaP
Conventional lethal injection protocol. Typically, three drugs are used in lethal injection. Pancuronium bromide (Pavulon) is used to cause muscle paralysis and respiratory arrest, potassium chloride to stop the heart, and midazolam for sedation. Got this from Google, but wonder why the Pavulon & heart stopping comes before sedation. Edited February 24, 2021 by KannikaP
