That would be the biggest upset ever!

China has been blamed(not proven)farangs have been blamed and now this news.

The guy who came up with this is a Dane who is part of the WHO.

Animals illegally bought in China, sold in Chatuchak market and the Chinese tourists

got it there and carried it back to China?

Lets see how this turns out,if true it would make a lot of people feel really stupid!

As the animal market does - officially - not exist and does - officially - not sell any illegal or endangered species, it can be safely confirmed, that the media report - irrespective of source - is wrong. It was the big wig of the health ministry who clearly pinpointed the source to the "dirty farang" - so that should suffice!

With the World Health Organisation being in the pockets of their Chinese friends, what else are we to expect? The Chinese are forever trying to blame any other country, the w.h.o. are just doing their friends a favour.

The early theory was that the virus was an accidental release from the Whuhan virology laboratory. The laboratory routinely kept and dissected many exotic animals in the search and identification of new virus. Many of these animals were used in virological testing

The lab generally had adequate security to prevent accidental releases. The animal carcasses were sealed and frozen for later incineration. However, the incinerator staff saw a backdoor way of making a profit and sold some of the carcasses at a nearby wet market. I guess it was only a matter of time.

Interesting conclusion, I read a year ago that Bangkok is the number one international flight destination for people who live in Wuhan, of course those days are now long gone.

So sure, he says it's not possible that it could go from Bangkok to Wuhan.

Yet it made it's way back to Thailand though via the same route.

Makes you think.

I can recall reading something by the BBC online Team several Weeks ago now.

It was a feature on a Scientist lady here in Thailand who was the Thai equivalent of the Chinese " Bat lady " Scientist.

Both these  Ladies are doing research into the Corona Virus ( s ) and Bats, and apparently there is a colony of Bats in some Sanctuary in Eastern Thailand, that carry most of the same makeup of Corona Virus as the current Virus that is causing the Pandemic Worldwide.

This report has switched from this , to a story about Chatuchak Market being then source.

It could not be Chatuchak.

BBC - New Corona Virus closely linked to SARS_COV_2 found in Thailand.

I dont know where the Chatuchak angle came from, but the paper out of Bangkok carried a very different newsline on this very subject this Morning.

Yes, they went on an expedition to the Chanthaburi caves looking for bats last year, strangely enough I don't recall reading any follow up on this story.

Extremely hard to prove anything over a year later as traces of covid19 could have come from anywhere by now.

What we can be sure of is China will do anything it can to look like a victim and not the cause. Look at the facts - The CCP suppressed any information at the beginning including silencing the doctors that tried to raise the alarm. The CCP claimed it was not possible for human to human transmission even when it was beyond doubt. The CCP stopped travel from Wuhan to other parts of China but allowed international flights out to continue. The WHO did no investigation within China for over a year. The WHO did not recommend stopping international travel despite Wuhan being locked down. The WHO refused to call covid19 a pandemic until it was far to late to contain it.

Now this guy from the WHO is suggesting that the source could have been from a city which at that time had no recorded infections and then transperted to, and infected people around a Wuhan wet market.

It's way too late for the CCP to pass the buck as it is now pretty much impossible to prove where it came from. However we can be certain of who lied to cover it up in the first place. Why lie if you are innocent? The WHO is either in bed with the CCP or incompetent, either way it needs sorting out as the way it looks now, is covid19 started in China and the WHO allowed it to be spread throughout the world.

Quite, very difficult to get a statement from the deceased.

Not everyone appreciated Li’s bombshell warnings. After he shared information about the strange infections he was seeing, he was reprimanded by local authorities for “making untrue comments” and “severely disturbing social order.” His messages about a SARS-like infection conveyed an urgency that undercut the official efforts to downplay the epidemic and its risk to the public. At the time, Wuhan’s health bureau said there was no evidence of spread between humans.

Well Thailand strongly wants Chinese tourists so they might go along with this. They are buying the Sino vaccine rather then the much superior Western ones. What's the term, "quid pro quo"?

So sad when a good country goes bad. 555

What was the Rolling stones song, "Under My Thumb"?

if you seen the two videos from China just days after the virus was spread at the fish market 100 k from Wuhan, the story of the batwoman and her lab, the video showing the very first covid virus separated from a bat, then the lab after a raid on it by police and a report that 10 people associated with the lab all missing, China really needs bloody huge brown envelopes, trouble is millions of people in Thailand not just the government seen these videos

particularly Thailand’s Chatuchak Weekend Market

Well... I really hope, the missus doesn’t learn, that Chatuchak is now

not only suddenly a wet market, but also selling animals !

... that would extend the usual shopping spree, hunting for cheap clothes and useless <deleted>, to at least another day, because she has to touch all the pets and finally buy at least one of them ????

Regarding the Chatuchak angle:

As far as I know, the Danish scientist said something like the virus could have originated in a market similar to Chatuchak. This was then published by a Danish newspaper as Chatuchak might possibly be the source of the outbreak, hence the need for damage control by the Thai government.
