Notice how these same supporters & politicians never make progress for supporting the working class such as unions or upholding constitutional rights along with civil liberties? One must really have to be suckered to have faith in such a party, especially now after Trump's presidency. Real suckers, that's for sure.

He waved to his supporters and sycophants. Attempted to ridicule, lie about, denigrate and damage others. He applauded those that sucked up to him so hard they forgot who they were. Several times a day he lied, exaggerated and complained like a baby - if that's your thing OK. Life is so much better now. Trump gone is good for the heart and soul of America and the world. It's sad that he'll try to get back in power because though he has a strong base I think enough people had enough of his nonsense and he'll fail. 3 2

sirocco
You should learn about the presidents who have led their compatriots to death, with the simple reflection so "stupid", so stupid: "we strongly condemn these attacks, these attacks, these massacres. Justice will be done". Nothing is done, or very little. And it continues with impunity. 1

Popular Post Walker88
Other than being a cult leader, one really wonders what value and ideas the guy brings to the Party. If they decide to choose him in 2024 (IMO, extremely unlikely and he'll be a forgotten 'family shame' by then), what's he going to do? Infrastructure? An 'amazing' healthcare plan? He had four years to do that if he really cared, and he didn't (do nor care). The Party he ostensibly leads, much to the dismay of actual Conservatives like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, is now an amalgam of nutjobs, conspiracy theorists, 'stolen election' believers with zero evidence of any fraud, fascists, racists, the assorted brain-addled, and Rafael 'Ted' Cruz. Gathering at the quite arguably weird CPAC, the crowd of acolytes showing up nearby include QAnon types, people who claim he will 'become the 19th President on March 4th' (owing to some batshoot crazy conspiracy about the US becoming a corporation in the late 19th Century and thus POTUSs after U S Grant were just CEOs), and other people most would choose to avoid socially and physically. No doubt the assembled sycophants inside CPAC will applaud wildly if the guy assaults the flag again like it's a 'name for a small kitten' he was recorded as saying he can grab, because his cult fits the age-old description of those content with 'panem et circenses', or perhaps Charles Mackay's "Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds". No one can reasonably argue now that the Party he leads is anything more than a cult of personality, peppered by empty promises, endless lies, and 3-4 word tag lines that resonate with the simple minded (e.g., 'stop the steal', 'drain the swamp', 'lock her up', etc.). Here's betting his 'speech' will be full of lies, vindictive taunts, self-pity, and absolutely devoid of substance, which is to say his typical drivel. America should be more than that sort of nonsense. Maybe it is naive to think that, but the US is in no way a better place for that guy having become POTUS, and would be well-advised to rid itself of him and his ilk forever. Perhaps his Party will adopt his style of three-word tag lines and start "Dump the xxxxx", allowing themselves to move on and act as a legitimate counter voice in what should be at least a two-Party system. 3

How many rational Republicans are there? Certainly a whole lot of Republicans voted for Trump in the first place, and even more surprisingly (or not) more did so the second time around, when most of the stuff mentioned was already public knowledge. Factor in voter attentions span - we're talking about 3 years from now (campaign start), much of this would be in the past, and obviously not all will be fixed - and blamed on Biden without blinking an eye. Trump's legal troubles, on which some hang their hopes, may take longer than that to sort. Rationally, going into a campaign while these are on would seem foolish, but for Trump that'd be just another opportunity for the old battle cry "Witch hunt!". I'd be weary.
