KC 71
Was looking on Lazada the other week. There are many to choose from. However i would probably look for a local shop near you if there is one.Unless you need up a fold up bike ,i would go for one with fat wheels. There really are some beauties out there. Might be worth checking them out Sukhumvit 71 is 3.2 km long... thats 6.4km of shop frontage to look out for a ‘bike shop’ !!! ... come on... give him a little more to go on !!! ------------ I too was interested in Electronic Bicycles.. i.e. the pedal assist, and then removing the limiter so I can pedal up to ‘traffic speeds’ i.e. 50kmh !! then I realised it could get a little hairy and I was better off with a regular motorbike... The additional facet of having to physically lock a bicycle to a gate, lamp-post etc whenever popping into 7-11 etc made the idea of using one for such trips not a good idea. EV MOTO BIKE https://maps.app.goo.gl/pFUtx3NKCJwh8H5P9 They can be licensed and insured as regular motorcycles. They sell them on shopee as well. Shopee.co.th/decogreenenergy I am interested into the super ace. Reviewed at https://youtu.be/Fw2feB156Ys Let me know if you get one and how it performs. I would rather have a Sur ron or a super 73, but they aren't sold here yet. Phil

I love e bikes too, such as build by https://www.bkkebike.com But it's not practically for Bangkok, can't be locked and licensed as a motorcycle, that's why I rather go for the scooter style. As long it's got pedals, it can be used without licensing, but I am not sure if I would feel safe to cruise down Vibhavadee Rd at 50mph with a pimped bicycle without insurance and proper gear, lol Phil

Well, Decogreen and EV motorbike are offering it, check out the photos at the Google maps link, they show the document requirements and examples of green books. It's all in Thai though, but visually self explanatory. That's what I've seen. EV MOTO BIKEhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/pFUtx3NKCJwh8H5P9 Phil

OneMoreFarang
Whatever you do and buy. Be aware of the fire risk of these powerful batteries.
