Police from the Lansaka constabulary and their counterparts on the railway force arrested a 50 year old Nakhon Sri Thammarat man named in a warrant for money laundering in October 2011.

Phirom or "Bang" Nokaksorn was sitting on the #447 train from Surat Thani to Sungei Kolok at Had Yai station in Songkhla when officers swooped.

He was mixed up in financial transactions done by his ex-wife's elder brother, reported Daily News.

To catch him whilst on a train and just seven months before the statute of limitations runs out is all a bit suspect.

That's the 2nd one I've read about today who got perilously close to getting away with something, the guy in Phuket who stole a cops gun 15 years ago, got nicked by the commandos literally months before the Statute of Limitations kicked in.

I'm sure the cops have a date circled on the calendar to go and nab someone a few days before the SoL kicks in ???????????????? Watch your back Red Bull Boss ???????? - Yes I was joking.
