BANGKOK, March 5 (TNA) - The 28-year-old doctor who developed undesirable symptoms after COVID-19 vaccine inoculation suffered side effects, not allergy, and can receive the second jab to complete her vaccination process, according to health authorities.

Dr Jurai Wongsawat of the Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute said the female doctor was inoculated at 11.14am on March 2 and experienced slight dizziness within 30 minutes.

Within a few hours, her symptoms escalated, having nausea and vomiting. There was not a rash. She received antihistamine intravenously and recovered.

I had the first AZ jab. Next end April.

My side effects - which mirrored everyone else in the bed and breakfast that got it at the same time - were sore arm for a 2 weeks (they say a couple days, but felt like nurse threw it in from across the room and then waggled it about a bit looking for oil), felt a bit chilly but no fever, legs ached and had an incredible thirst for a few days. No idea why legs ached, but we all felt the same.

Nothing that  a few beers didn't take my mind off though.
