webfact
Massage woman's "love child" with customer at the center of custody battle - husband claims he knew nothing Picture: Thai Rath A woman in Khon Kaen has gone to the police to allege that a man "stole" her daughter from a nursery. But the man claims that the child is his and he will go to court to prove it. The woman met the man while she was working in soapy massage in Bangkok. He gave her money to look after the child but then wanted his daughter to himself. The story has been widely viewed and shared by the Thai online community. "A" 32 and her husband Don, 40, went to the chief of the Ban Phai police Pol Col Pichaiphusit Jarupong regarding her daughter Ja aged 3 years and 5 months. She said that after she had been with Don for a year she went to Bangkok to work in "ab ob nuat" - soapy massage where sex is offered to clients. Meanwhile Don continued as a contruction worker going between Bangkok and the provinces. At the massage parlor she met "Art", 38, and the couple regularly had sex. "A'" said she was on the pill. Then she got pregnant. Believing he was the father Don said he wasn't ready to start a family and said she should abort the pregnancy. But Art said "no" and she gave birth. Art said that he would take care of the finances. Then the pandemic hit and A returned to Ban Phai because there was no work. Art paid for her to start a massage business locally and bought her a car. But the business started failing when the massage business was ordered shut as the pandemic continued and A returned to Bangkok to go back to the massage parlor there. She put her child in charge of an owner of a nursery who she paid 23,000 baht a month to take care of her. However, she claims that Art turned up and took the child away while the teacher or owner of the nursery was cutting the grass. The nursery was at her home. This happened towards the end of February. Then notification arrived from the juvenile court that Art was undergoing DNA paternity tests and was seeking custody of the child. This forced A to come clean to Don about the whole affair. He claims he was OK with this saying he thought the child was his. Now A has filed a complaint with the Bang Phai police that Art stole the child. It has also been alleged that Art went with the teacher to make a report with the Bang Phai police after the alleged abduction informing them of his intention to seek sole custody based on paternity. The teacher has denied that she had anything to do with it. Now it has been confirmed that the child is with Art but nobody knows where. He has referred A to his lawyer saying he plans to address the matter in court. Enzian
Make a great Thai soap opera except the government might ban it based on the fact that there is no sex for sale in Thailand. And why am I not surprised that the husband's attitude is Mai pen drai?

rasmus5150
This is like a total "upside-down" story. Normally Thai men dumps their pregnant girlfriends, "forcing" them into prostitution while the child is being brought up by their granny.
