Popular Post webfact
Picture: Kom Chad Luek Pictures published by Kom Chad Luek showed TAT reps in Chiang Mai with clenched fists as they prepared to open up tourism markets. Not just anywhere but for Indian tourists - to visit Chiang Mai. A three day event held last week focussed on attracting visitors from the sub-continent especially as the Chinese had stopped coming to Chiang Mai last year. Krissada Rattanapreuk, TAT's Asia Pacific representative said that they needed to turn to the Indian market. He explained that Thailand needs quality tourists. In the past Thailand let standards slip with the promotion of low cost airlines and cheap package tours - this led to low quality tourists. Picture: KomChad Luek And kept the high quality ones away, he claimed. Now it was time to turn to quality tourists from India to take up the slack. That shouldn't be too difficult, he noted, as the environment in Thailand was now wonderful after it recovered during the pandemic and it would stay that way in the future. He noted that misconceptions about the diet of Indians need to be addressed. Some thought they didn't eat pork. Vegetarian diets needed to be promoted so that Indians feel right at home. Chiang Mai needs Indians, he said. Yes, it was true that many of them loved the sea but they also love good culture and Chiang Mai and Thailand has that in abundance. The meeting was told that vaccinated tourists could quarantine for only 7 days from July and from October quarantine for them would end with January 2022 a target for the full reopening of Thailand. Many Indian people and reps seemed to be in attendance at the meeting to hear the good news, notes Thaivisa. -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2021-03-24 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow Thaivisa on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates

Popular Post Wafrog
Everytime I read news from TAT, I feel like I am in a kafkaesque world ???? Worst polluted city in the world was what I read not long ago. No doubt of interest for rich Indians.. There is only one affinity between Indians and Thai on the material aspect, and that is money ! As for covid, well, it's over isn't it ? Ah TAT, if you weren't a government body I'd promote you as stand up comedy ! 1
Popular Post jaiyen
A quality Indian tourist is one that eats his own plate of food and drinks his whole bottle of beer. Not sharing with a few of his mates like they did before. 1

Cake Monster
What a disgraceful Photograph of all those TAT reps and a few Indians all packed together for the Photo, and not a single Face Mask in the Shot. The whole lot of them should resign straight away 7 hours ago, webfact said: That shouldn't be too difficult, he noted, as the environment in Thailand was now wonderful after it recovered during the pandemic and it would stay that way in the future. So all the Pollution in CM, which is the filthiest City on the Planet, and a Nation wide Drought make for a " wonderful " Environment . Delusional.
