16th death attributed to COVID-19 announced in Cambodia

The Kingdom this evening confirmed the death of a 70-year-old woman COVID-19 patient who was under medical treatment. This is the second death today, bringing the total number of deaths to 16.

 

The 70-year-old woman who lives in Chamkar Mon district’s Tonle Bassac commune was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on March 25 and the patient was hospitalised at the Chak Angre Health Center on March 25.

 

It noted that on March 26 the patient was in a very tired and serious condition and required the doctors to send her to the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital for treatment.
