Reverse osmosis drinking water filters for home

Has anyone else installed an RO home filter system for drinking water in Bangkok?

We have limited space, so I’m considering the Mazuma RO Essence.

Have a few questions:

1) Rate of flow. How long does it take fo fill a liter jug?

2) Filters are expensive. I’m no Mr Fix-it. Does anyone know a reliable company in Bangkok to maintain & troubleshoot?

3) Reliability. Is Mazuma a reliable brand?

Thinking of buying from HomePro. Price is the same & offers free installation.

Thank you!

This unit appears to have an external storage tank so it should fill your litre jug in about 60 seconds (we have a Filtex unit which fills the kettle in an acceptable time).

EDIT I just timed the Filtex, fills our 1.5L kettle in 45 seconds (starting with the tank full).

Personally I avoid any units that don't accept the standard filter cartridges which are available from many different sources, with the Mazuma you may be limited to single source (I may be wrong in this respect).

Mazuma are a well known brand so service shouldn't be an issue, but replacing the the cartridges isn't rocket science (remember lefty-loosy, righty-tighty and turn off the water supply first).
