monorobbie
Hi, I don't usually do 90 day reporting myself (which is why I'm confused). I'm on a retirement visa, my usual address is in Chiang Mai and I get a visa company to do it for me all the time in Chiang Mai. The problem is I'm in Samui at the moment. I can't do the 90 day reporting here (I thought I could but immigration here in Samui said I couldn't) I can't do it online (unless anyone knows how to get that website to work). The company in Chiang Mai says I can send them my passport by EMS Thai post and they'll do it and send it back to me. I don't know how long this will take and while I don't have a passport I can't move around. Do I have any other options? Is it possible to do it with photocopies? Tropicalevo
I am surprised at the information you were given at immigration here. We have a number of guests from Chiang Mai and they have been here for a few months. They come to escape the bad air. Quite a few of them have had their 90 reporting recorded here. All it needed was a copy of the TM 30 report that shows their temporary address. Did your landlord/hotel do a TM 30 report for you when you arrived? As an aside, you can move around with a copy of your passport. You need to copy the three pages that are used on the TM 30 report plus the 90 day page. Within Thailand I always travel with copies. I leave the original at home. Edited April 5, 2021 by Tropicalevo
monorobbie
Thanks for your answer, Tropicalevo. That's what I got wrong! I didn't get the TM 30 report of my temporary address.

They have to use the Thai version.
