Traffic accidents drop by 17 percent in Q1... in Cambodia

Number of road accidents saw a decrease of 17 percent or 153 cases in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period in 2020.The update was highlighted recently by Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior on his official Facebook page.

 

From January to March 2021, there were in total 763 road accident cases killing 433 people, down 60 cases, and injuring 1,113 others, down 202 cases, he pointed out. The trend indicates that Cambodians are better aware of traffic laws and accordingly abide by the laws.
