Yes but when people did their long term forecasts, budgets whatever, they should have considered different exchange rates plus factored in inflation over 20-30+ years, but I appreciate most people can't even work out their electricity bill Edited April 7, 2021 by scubascuba3 3

Been in Big C lately. The Casino products increased by 25-30%. Not the dry foods yet, because they will have been imported longer ago. Company has taken over the butchery, and most meat prices increased by up to 100% over night. KU burger, which is Thai produce, from 250 to 450 Baht over night. Whole chicken fried, normally 125 Baht, yesterday 209 Baht. I feel a trend coming. Haven't been in Lotatt for months, but maybe someone can confirm if the same is happening there. Why spend more, for the sake of spending, i couldn't drink any more alcohol without dying. i'm too old to bang any more hookers than I already use. I already have a nice house, pickup, scooter and a M/c. My fridge is full of bacon, milk and cheese, if I eat any more I'll explode. All my party holiday countries are closed (Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines). How is it possible to spend more than 50k/month? What I will say though is that this forum has been 'discussing' the monthly spend topic not only for years but for DECADES and it still will be in another 10 years (if the world hasn't already ended) Round and round and round we go. Rinse and repeat. 2 1

However, I would hold back on calling the bank for the extension to the house or applying for the elite visa. 2
