The Timor-Leste Ambassador to Cambodia Ermeneglido “Kupa” Lopes together with 12 other Embassy officials took their COVID-19 vaccination at National Maternal and Child Health Centre yesterday. In commending the Cambodian health authorities for their well-organised arrangement of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, Lopes said he was very impressed with the smooth process in vaccinating all the Embassy officials with their first dose of the vaccine.

“I am very thankful to the Cambodian government for providing the vaccine to all the foreign diplomatic corps, especially Timor-Leste and I am very proud of that,” he added. He said Timor-Leste will give its full support to the Cambodian Government in its fight to contain the surge in COVID-19 by strictly adhering to the preventive measures.

Meanwhile, the charge d’affairs of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Cambodia M. Fahad Ur Rehman said seven diplomatic officials and staff from the Embassy took their first dose of the vaccine yesterday.
