Government Allows Full Fare Refund before Songkran

BANGKOK (NNT) - The government has announced measures to help people forced to cancel journeys on public transport from April 9-18 because of the new Covid-19 outbreak earlier this month that linked to entertainment venues in Bangkok’s Thong Lo area.

CCSA confirms closure of entertainment venues in 41 provinces from Saturday

Thailand’s Centre for Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has confirmed the closure of entertainment venues in more than half of the country’s provinces.

Ten military facilities in Bangkok reserved for field hospitals as needed

Thailand’s Ministry of Defence has made available ten areas in Bangkok for the setting up of field hospitals, with a combined capacity of up to 3,000 patients, in case COVID-19 infections overwhelm existing hospitals.

More than 70,000 people in Phuket vaccinated

PHUKET: More than 70,000 people in Phuket have received their first COVID-19 vaccine injection since the mass-vaccination campaign began on Apr 1, reports the Phuket Provincial Public Health Office (PPHO).

Health Min confirms private COVID-19 vaccines imports are allowed

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Ministry of Public Health has reiterated it is not blocking private organizations from importing COVID-19 vaccines, pointing out it has already registered three for the process and is considering a fourth.

Most Government House officials to work from home until April 21st

Chonburi orders all entertainment venues to close

The Communicable Disease Committee of Thailand’s Chonburi province has ordered all entertainment venues to close from tomorrow (Saturday), including cinemas and theatres, to control the spread of COVID-19.

Following a spike in COVID-19 cases in Bangkok and neighbouring provinces, numerous provinces around Thailand have now issued restrictions on anyone travelling from areas deemed to be ‘high risk’.
