Where to buy an ice pick in Pattaya

Ice-pick in Thailand made me smile.

I still have a real one from my younger years on the glacier (about 40 years ago).

Still in good shape but I won't separate for nostalgic reasons.

 

For your purpose some kind of "pick-axe" should be sufficient?

( not sure whether this is the best word in English).

I don't have any old screwdrivers that are worth less than a new icepick...

In case the sales folks at the store don't know what an awl is:

It's great for punching an extra hole in a leather belt, holes in the bottom of a plastic flower pot, chipping ice ... that sort of thing.  And, yeah, mine is a little corroded but it still works.

Or simply grind a point on an old screwdriver with an angle grinder.
