The governor of Prachuap Khirikhan Phallop Singhaseni announced measures to try and contain the outbreak of Covid-19 in his province among those returning home from Songkran holidays or those visiting the area.

He acknowledged there were another 100 new cases  and the total for the first half of April now stood at 625 total. The closure of 13 kinds of establishment temporarily was now in place.

Phallop said that he had instructed all district offices, kamnans, phu yai ban and other community leaders to screen those entering their areas or returning home.

Anyone with a fever - a temperature over 37.5 - was to be subjected to a Covid test.

For those with no symptoms they were to be questioned to ascertain if they had been in risky areas or in contact with Covid-19 infected people. Those deemed at risk must be told to quarantine at home for 14 days.

He said that locations for field hospitals were being examined and extra beds were being found at hotels in Hua Hin, Pranburi and Muang district of Prachuap Khiri Khan.

There were an extra 456 beds from previous totals and the figure now stood at 1,000.

Hospital beds that could be assigned to Covid patients had reached a limit. This appeared to mean capacity, not that they were actually full.

People without symptoms who tested positive would quarantine at field hospitals and hotels for 14 days.

That seems a sensible approach but no doubt totally impractical to enforce

Question: where have you come from?

Answer: Big C up the road.

Okay carry-on.

Could also be a false-positive.  Maybe had it, and still have dead cells.
Tests are still not 100%.
