Popular Post webfact
File photo for reference only Naew Na reported the news that provincial police chief Pol Maj-Gen Wanchai Tharanatham ordered the transfer to an inactive post of Hua Hin police chief Pol Col Phaitoon Phromkhian. This they said was after he allowed places in Hua Hin to open after hours specifically the Maya Pub that was the epicenter of the outbreak of Covid in Prachuap Khiri Khan after a concert there on March 30th. The media notes that Wanchai had only just got back to his desk after being transferred to an inactive post over allowing a so-called Wua Lan event to take place. Wua Lan is a kind of rodeo event and at this one a local official had been murdered. -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2021-04-16 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow Thaivisa on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 2

richard_smith237
He’s only done what every others Chief if Police does, in this cases it’s simply not stopping events... someone shot at the first event, not really his fault it would seem. Allowing the Maya party to go ahead, was there any law in place at the time stopping such events? Seems he has been made a scapegoat for the government not setting clear guidelines in place.
