1FinickyOne
It is sounding imminent - GBTC has been trading at a discount to bitcoin lately... what happens to GBTC if they go ETF - how is the price effected? And are you buying COIN? Edited April 16, 2021 by 1FinickyOne
ukrules
Hard to say really as there are currently no Bitcoin ETFs in the US. All we can do is look at what happened in Canada when they launched their first few Bitcoin ETFs. It was massive. The new guy in charge of the SEC 'Gary Gensler' who was confirmed and appointed this week taught a course on Bitcoin at MIT recently, a copy of his lectures are online here : https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/sloan-school-of-management/15-s12-blockchain-and-money-fall-2018/video-lectures/session-1-introduction/ This is a complete about turn from the Trump administration which blocked these ETF applications at every opportunity.
