Why would anybody want to climb into an aluminum tube and share air with 100s of others in a pandemic? Why don't they drive. At least then they reduce their contacts dramatically.

You think driving from Bkk to Phuket & back is safer than the risk of contracting Covid-19 and becoming seriously ill ???

Obviously its best not to travel at all, however, some of the fear & irrational paranoia when reading the comments such as above highlight those who seem blinded by the media hysteria.

Of course Covid-19 is potentially a serious issue for some of those in high risk groups & we should do our utmost to protect those in high risk groups. But, let’s not drink too much of the cool-aid & lose sight of intelligent balance.

What happens when 80% of the population is vaccinated ???
They can still catch Covid-19 but will be asymptomatic...   just like now then !!!

How many people in Thailand are Curently seriously ill in hospital with Covid-19  ??? (Not those just sent to hospital to quarantine).

The current increase in positive covid-19 cases is a result of increased testing, had Thailand tested to the same levels 1 year ago, 6 months ago etc cases would have been identified.

It would be interesting to check more of the population for antibodies and learn what has really been happening over the past 15 months...
