They have really gone down hill over the years.

Well that's disappointing ???? From what I can remember back in Farangland where I can vaguely remember having tried one once and that was not to be repeated, I didn't think they could have gotten any worse. But situations change and anything to get the just a hint of a Farang flavor after years of Thai stuff would be wonderful. Have ordered a couple and will report results in due course. ????

Popular Post Daffy D
Pies arrived a few days ago and finally got round to cooking them. The tins seemed smaller than I remember but it was several decades ago since I last had one so could just be in my mind. The pie looked quite nice in the oven with the rising golden top crust but how do you get it out of the tin and onto the plate. Decided to just up end it onto the plate, a bit messy but still a pie of sorts. As mentioned not a lot of meat and a little greasy, but lots of gravy and the pasty was quite nice. Not a patch on Mommy's cooking, but overall not too bad if your expectations are not too high. An interesting experiment but doubt I'll do it again ????

Sharp knife round the edge and lift off with a wooden spatula...easy peasy ????

My opinion is they still taste great, but the amount of meat in them has reduced drastically in recent years.

These are quite often only 99p in my local store in the UK. When cooked the pastry is nice on the top but is all doughy underneath which spoils it for me. Still taste the same as they they always did to me and as you say the meat has reduced. Would rather spend the 200 baht on some HP sauce
