Popular Post webfact
Picture: Naew Na Songkhram Kitlertphairot - a lead strategist with the opposition Puea Chat Party (PCP) took aim at the government of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha in an all guns blazing attack today, reported Thai media Naew Na. Among his fiery comments he called Prayuth a know it all who would not listen to valid and sensible opinions. He would only listen to his cronies playing political games among his supporters rather than trying to really help the people. He called the 1.9 trillion baht bailout of the economy a waste of money that is proving to be unsustainable and not going to those that need it most. He said the PM had closed the door on the Thai people's chance to make a living. He said that many people were committing suicide to get away from their problems. "Prayuth does not listen to other people's opinions even if they are valid and sensible. "He calls his critics people who are attacking his government and rejects their opinions. "He only listens to his cronies". Songkhram said the government action on Covid was built on ignorance and ignoring people. He said that the vaccine rollout was pitifully slow and that it was terrible that the people were being told to "wait until June". Meanwhile Thais were dying because of the failures of the vaccine rollout. He told the PM to stop blaming other people finishing off his tirade with: "He's incapable, won't listen and thinks he's the only person who's right". -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2021-04-19 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow Thaivisa on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 12 8

Sorry. I think its more of I am a "military general" thing. He doesn't like being challenged by the press or public. Pretty useless along with his cronies. They won't accept they have no political experience or expertise. From back slapping about how well they controlled the pandemic to one of the slowest rollouts of the vaccine. They relied on their Chinese pals too much. They are completely out of their depth. All this Phuket will be open in July is just hot air. The Thai PM is NOT doing a good job but this guy is taking the easy way. Just shooting him down without giving solutions. I think there are no real solutions for the pandemic. Its always a choice between economy and the disease. I love to see the Thai PM and his party go, but i really doubt that the others will do a better job. I seen the same behavior of the PTP when they were in power. Not listening to others always thinking they were right. Shady deals ect. Still at least there was a bit more freedom. Not sure they were less corrupt or more capable. Give me future forward all the way.

Is that a veiled suggestion that the published figures are incorrect? If not, I doubt as little as 100 deaths is really a platform for such an arguement. I not sure which one is the bigger comic opera however?

As the deaths by suicide were also mentioned I think he meant the total deaths due to the virus plus the ones caused by the pandemic and the pathetic government responses. I hope this was said in parliament to shutdown the usual hit them with a court case response Prayuth comes out with when criticised. I want to see more of this guy giving him stick. It just needs to be directed at getting people vaccinated and re employed.
