Siriraj Hospital appeals for blood donations

The blood bank at Siriraj Hospital is running low on all blood types due to reduced donations during the COVID-19 outbreak, according to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Parichart Permpikul, head of the Siriraj’s transfusion medicine department at Mahidol University.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand will continue to use COVID-19 vaccine from China's Sinovac Biotech following six reports of unusual "stroke-like" side effects among recipients, government-appointed experts said on Wednesday.

Thai Prime Minister Explains Government’s Vaccination Program

BANGKOK (NNT) - Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has explained that the government’s vaccination program had not been overly slow, nor unjustly favored one producer over another. He assured that the Covid-19 vaccines Thailand now had were being administered quickly and efficiently, adding that the number of doses will be increased from July and reach 61 million by the end of the year.

Pattaya officials ensure restaurants aren’t bending rules on alcohol sales

Patong, Karon areas to face water outages over 10 days

Driving licences: New international permit to drive can be used in 84 countries and for three years

Lockdown planned for two villages in Thailand’s Phichit province

The provincial communicable disease committee of Phichit province plans to lock down two villages in Sam Ngam district, after seven members of two families were found to be infected with COVID-19 and about 30 others were listed as being at high-risk.

Thailand to Support ASEAN Summit Resolutions
