geovalin Posted April 26, 2021 Share Posted April 26, 2021 While the number of COVID-19 patients in Cambodia keeps increasing at an alarming rate, the Ministry of Health today announced that it will allow private hospitals and clinics to treat COVID-19 patients. In order to receive the right to give this service, the owners or managers of the hospitals or clinics are required to apply for a permit from the ministry. However, they needs to fulfill several conditions, including possessing enough specialised equipment and tools to treat the patients, an effective preventive system and a good waste management system. Just in a period of two months, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom has risen from just above 500 to nearly 10,000, with most of the cases being linked to the February 20 Community Event.
