Popular Post TallGuyJohninBKK
The 2,048 new COVID cases reported Monday represented the second consecutive day of declines, but the fourth straight day of 2,000+ new cases in Thailand's so-called "third wave" COVID outbreak that began at the start of April. --The growing toll of COVID patient hospitalizations -- under a government policy that requires all COVID cases to be hospitalized regardless of symptoms -- crossed the 25,000 mark hitting 25,767, a number that has doubled over the past 10 days. --The eight new COVID deaths reported Monday represented the second highest daily toll for Thailand of the pandemic thus far, eclipsed only by the 11 reported yesterday and matching the eight reported Saturday. --The 563 COVID patients considered in critical condition is a tally that's doubled over the past six days (from 259 on April 21). Plus 150 patients requiring ventilators to breathe is a figure that's almost tripled over the past week (from 55 on April 20).. In this morning's update, a government spokeswoman said the prime minister and other top officials would meet again this coming Thursday to consider what, if any, additional measures might be required to deal with the current COVID outbreak. https://www.facebook.com/ThaiEnquirer/photos/a.127117418775800/307158927438314/ 3

So who knows the numbers might be manipulated. But im not sure about it, lets just see what happens on facebook. If we have many reports of hospitals refusing patients and people dying we know the numbers are fake. If not .. then maybe they are true.

Popular Post Antiparovian
Mass vaccination, combined with ban on unnecessary travel +/- strict regional lockdowns is the way forward. Popular Post TallGuyJohninBKK
Will Thailand’s new COVID surge kill a plan to restart tourism in July? "Although the third wave of COVID-19 has hit Thailand hard, key decision-makers are still keen to launch the “Phuket Sandbox” on July 1. The sandbox will trial Thailand’s reopening by allowing inoculated foreigners to visit Phuket without having to quarantine. Crucial to its success, however, is whether the government can deliver enough vaccine to achieve herd immunity in the population of the province and if the private sector will deliver solid support. “We have not canceled or changed the Phuket Sandbox plan,” Commerce Minister Jurin Laksanawisit said on Sunday. “Vaccinations are being urgently rolled out in Phuket.” (more) https://www.thaipbsworld.com/will-thailands-new-covid-surge-kill-a-plan-to-restart-tourism-in-july/ 3

Nobody disappointed only realistic! What day the test have made, how many people are watching test resurt in lab...... so on! Many thing what they not inform. Reason cant know facts to make estimation about real numbers. Add there the number of test and sick people who not go to test at all!

The quote from the article was "Monday’s cases" which is simply not true, the point I was clarifying. It should have stated Sunday's cases reported Monday to be correct rather than misleading as usual.

Only weekly figures provide solid consistent evidence, worldwide. Therefore they should be the lowest granularity used for publication. Otherwise the province colouring would remain interesting, based on numbers AND doctors assessments. The list of hot (searing) zones within provinces would be extremely useful too.
