Since the forum changes the default emoticons show to me as a broken square and the name. Is this something in the list of things still to be fixed or are they being put out to pasture? Kerryd Posted May 6, 2021 Share Posted May 6, 2021 I downloaded the emoticon as that is the only one that really matters. A bit annoying to have to "upload the image" and then insert it into almost every post I make. (I jest, it's not every post.) It does seem like it's a "lost directory" issue as the system looks like it knows it is supposed to put the emoticon there (as you can see in the first sentence), but can't find the image file. I think that is/was the same problem with user's profile images. After the "glitch" everyone lost their profile image. All one had to do was upload the image again and the system would display it normally as the image was back in the "default" directory. Perhaps if the default emoticon images were "re-uploaded" into the system from scratch, they would end up in the "default" image directory where the system normally expects to find them.
