geovalin Posted May 6, 2021 Share Posted May 6, 2021 The Cambodian Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Phare Ponleu Selpak, has been awarded with three international awards following its 24-hour circus performance in an attempt for a Guinness World Record to help the group raise funds as it struggles for survival amid the pandemic. Phare won the Gold Stevie in the Innovation in Events category and the Silver Stevie in Innovation in Communications category, competing against 29 countries in the Asia Pacific Region Stevie Awards 2021. It also won the Gold Award for Special Event in the Hermes Creative Awards. The NGO won its awards alongside global giants like AstraZeneca, Bruce Springsteen, LG, IBM, Pepsi, UNICEF, Hewlett Packard, Manulife and Reuters.
