Whatever floats your boat. But I managed to give up drinking 3 or 4 pints of beer a night for over 25 years in only two weeks 4 years ago - today, May 8th 2017 as it happens. OK, I subbed it with Bells at first, but never more than 2 a night. I have an apothecaries glass and measure 45 mls into it, put that in a 250 ml glass, add ice to the top and then top it up with soda. Hardly being an alcoholic.
