I stayed at the Furama hotel in Silom and was very happy with the internet speed - Seamless streaming of netflix or youtube.

That is a very good question. The hotel I used last year advertised hi-speed internet, and to my horror that was maximum 6Mb for the room. The hotel had a 100Mb connection for the entire hotel. I had to tether off my AIS mobile the whole time, which got me 30-40Mb.

I am in the Casa Vimaya Riverside - two tests below - first one is local to BKK, the second is to Los Angeles - no issues with streaming, etc. Good food - plus balcony on one side of the hotel

Wow. If I can get half that speed I'll be very happy.

That hotel looks superb, and the price isn't outrageous either. Desk and chair not that suitable for working on a laptop for long periods though ?
