webfact Posted May 7, 2021 Share Posted May 7, 2021 File Photo The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) announced today (Friday) an extension of the closures of several businesses, public spaces and services until May 17th, citing the continuing surge of COVID-19 infections in the capital. The restrictions affect the following: • Cinemas and theatres • Snooker and billiards parlors • Public swimming pools • Water and amusement parks (interior and exterior) • Rollerblade and skateboard parks • Internet cafes • Bowling alleys and video game shops • Museums • Public libraries • Exercise facilities and fitness clubs • Exhibition venues and convention centres • Nurseries • Care centres for the elderly • Martial arts schools • Boxing stadiums and boxing schools • Dance studios • All kinds of sports grounds • Horse racing courses • Amulet trading centres • Weight control clinics • Thai and foot massage parlours • Entertainment venues • Public parks • All educational establishments • Beauty salons and hairdressers can stay open, but customers have to wait outside • Convenience stores and supermarkets can stay open from 4am until 11pm • No gatherings of more than 20 people • Malls and department stores can stay open from 11am until 8pm. • Eateries can stay open until 9pm, but no dine-in services. They used AZ and Sinopharm vaccine's. Thailand I think will have continuing lockdowns / restrictions until the large majority of the country is vaccinated. There are a hundred more unanswered questions, than there are answers, when it comes to Covid (chai dam mak mak 19). And so few have the facts. Nearly everything about the entire covid narrative is either inaccurate, or bent. And it is true, one of the centers of Covid in the US, LA county, is doing well. Cases are way, way down.
