Given the few tests performed in Thailand, what you are basically saying is that anyone who thinks they had Covid should be able to walk around without a face mask. Nobody in Thailand in 2020 had been infected by the UK variant, and so are liable to re-infection now from this or other new variants. Also, your premise has a slippery slope: there is no lack of idiots in Thailand who think they had Covid last year, but never got tested.
