Seamstress/Tailor

Recommended Posts

Now I’m convinced that the way to go for me is to have my clothes made....I’ve got tons of dressy type shirts, slacks and jeans but I need day to day work and run into town shirts and shorts...wash and wear!

Does anyone have a seamstress they could vouch for in ChiangMai or Samoeng area (not sure a tailor would be interested in my small time needs)....I’d need half dozen of each to start!

Also any advice on material for the hot weather??

We have found a reliable seamstress but use her mostly for repairs. The only exception has been converting pillow cases into monitor covers. They came out very nice so we now have custom dust covers for every monitor and small TV in the house. She has a shop on the entrance alley from Chiang Mai Lamphun Road into the parking lot for Nong Hoi Market. Her shop is on the right hand side.

One of each to start to be sure size and details are right.

That is excellent advice.

All of the tailors i have used have difficulty following measurements. I would measure or try on the garments before leaving the shop.
