pixelaoffy
I see a list of so called approved clinics and hospitals in Bangkok for PCR tests accepted for flying ! Are all these clinics I see advertised at lower prices accepted to fly if not on list? Not paying 8-10 k for simple test ! https://service.dmsc.moph.go.th/labscovid19/indexen.php Edited May 12, 2021 by pixelaoffy
Billpro785
Got mine at the local hospital when I flew back to the states last month, cost was 3000 baht and no problem with the airline accepting it.
DFPhuket
MedConsult on Sukhumvit Road offers the RT-PCR test, which is the one required for travel. The cost is 2,600 baht. If you go early in the morning the result is provided by email later the same day.

The USA allows a selection too:

Londinium
As Treetops said, the expensive PCR test is not required for entry to the UK, the rapid antigen is fine (1500 baht at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, near Victory Monument - result in 2 hours). I returned to the UK on Wednesday.

Londinium
I flew Finnair via Helsinki. No issues whatsoever with the rapid antigen test certificate. 1

Ask the hospital or clinic if they know what they are for UK ?

Londinium
Yes, the hospital knew exactly what information was required on the test certificate by the UK.
Londinium
As it says on the website quoted above: ”...confirmation of the device used for the test OR that the test was a PCR test.” But if you want to pay much more than 1500 baht to have a PCR test then, of course, that is your choice. Emdog
I tried using gov approved test sites list, looking for Chonburi (Pattaya & Jomtien). Hit the links, open google maps "We could not find XYZ". Lovely

The link you quoted states the UK minimum standard: "The test must meet performance standards of ≥97% specificity, ≥80% sensitivity at viral loads above 100,000 copies/ml." Ask the hospital if their test meets that.
