geovalin Posted May 13, 2021 Share Posted May 13, 2021 In an interesting twist, police arrested a 38-year old man for killing his wife and four children, aged between three and nine, before setting fire to his house in a fit of anger on May 9 in Kampong Chhnang province’s Doeu Chrey village. Kampong Chhnang deputy police chief, Brigadier General Ear Buthoeun told Khmer Times that the suspect and his wife were believed embroiled in a heated argument when he committed the heinous crime. Brig Gen Buthoeun declined to give further details as he said the investigation was still in progress. According to neighbours, the suspect was the third husband of the woman and they did not have children of their own. The children were from the deceased two previous husbands.
