anchadian Posted May 14, 2021 Share Posted May 14, 2021 Inmates nationwide expected to be inoculated in June Thailand’s department of corrections is planning to inoculate all inmates nationwide, beginning with people at high-risk, such as those over 60, those with a high BMI and those with congenital diseases. The campaign is expected to begin in June, after the new lot of vaccines arrive. A number of the correction department officials, who have to be in contact with inmates, such as to take them to and from court, have already been vaccinated. The deputy director-general at the department of corrections, Weerakit Harnpripan, said that the inoculation campaign is a part of the plan which the department’s director-general proposed to the justice minister. The proposal also includes the conducting of rapid COVID-19 tests, which can produce results within 20 minutes, as soon as a new prisoner leaves the court, but before entering the system. Meanwhile, Thailand has suspended issuing a Certificate of Entry (COE) and visas for people travelling from India who had been in that country since May 1. He got 7 yrs and she got 2yrs,about a year ago. She wouldn't know anything about motorcycles except how to ride one. No consideration for the 10 year old boy left with no mum and dad. Ministry spokesperson, Duangrit Benjathikul Chairungruang, said lessons are to be conducted online and on-site, depending on the COVID-19 situation in the various locations where universities are located. He said a higher education commission is expected to set online education standards to maintain a consistent education quality across the board. Vaccination is, however, a key factor in expediting on-site education. If teachers and students are vaccinated before the next semester, the education sector and society as a whole will be safe. Thre just seems to be a lot of people who were vaccinated that end up still being infected. I can imagine some hospital staff who've gotten the vaccinations actually being carriers despite what they think. Other provinces test, but don’t post the numbers, it comes in bits and pieces.
