This is not the first time that Thai workers in Israel are killed or wounded in such tit-for-tat attacks, who's to blame? everybody... is this going to happen again? probably yes...

Rather a shame that the leaders of both Israel and Islamic Jihad/Hamas cannot just be thrown into a big pit and let the average good people just get on with life.

Yes both as bad as each other.

My opinion is that the wealthy Arab nations should shovel cash into Gaza and Palestine to make people there wealthy, in such a way that the money gets to regular people, and isn't used for purchase of advanced weapons. If people in Gaza had two or three cars and a nice house, they might not be willing to go kamikaze.

what kind of skills do Thai workers have so that they can find  a job in Gaza where the unemployment rate is about 50%?

maybe they need a Pad Thai stall on the Gaza strip to feed the troops? ????

Not being Muslims. And, of course in Israel, not Gaza. Palestinian Arabs used to do this work but travel from Gaza/West Bank to Israel difficult for Arabs due to border checkpoints causing  delays or often closed. Just adds to the problems as poverty and unemployment among Palestinians increases. When you have nothing, Jihad becomes more attractive.

I really hate this "They are each as bad as the other" narrative.

Nothing justifies firing 1,750 M302 missiles at cities, farming communities, and other civilian targets, full of innocent Jews, Arabs, Christians and, so tragically, these two Thais.

This is an act of pure evil, long-planned and driven by internal Palestinian political considerations. It has nothing to do with the Temple Mount or a handful of justified evictions ordered by a civil court, not the nation of Israel. The ability of the Israelis to destroy most - but not all! - of these missiles is irrelevant. This is a crime against humanity.

Supposed liberals in the West who try to gloss over the enormity of what the unelected Hamas dictatorship are doing are, themselves, complicit in this evil.

No one's justifying anything, nor are people saying they're equally as terrible. There's two immoral governments, one is less evil than the other, but none of them are good. There's a reason why Europe have had a sour relationship with Israel since the Israeli Mossad terrorism attacks in Europe. They haven't changed a bit, often takes part on the opposite side of the table, constantly talks <deleted> about western Europe and gives support to extremist leaders, like the Hungarian Victor Orban and other opponents just to stir up conflict. Despite this, Israel still receive support from Europe, since Hamas is the worst of the two evils.

You saying it's the Israeli court's decision to evict these Palestinians is just you being ignorant. It has clearly been on the Israeli government's agenda for decades to expand territory and remove the Palestinians, who have lived there for over a thousand years.

The Times of Israel reports more detail, including that the two Thai workers were in a building without proper fortifications, which are required by law in Israel for buildings so close to the Gaza border.  Nor did the workers have proper access to a bomb shelter, although a village spokesperson claimed they had access to a portable bomb shelter, but it's not known why they didn't use it when they heard the siren.  Maybe lack of training.  It's under investigation, the spokesperson claimed.

This should be a wake-up call for all Thai people considering relocation to Israel for employment.  There's a reason that Israeli people don't want to do these jobs.

Yeah.

The same reason American people don't want to be farm workers.

No they are not, one is the aggressor who never learns as they always lose. The other is always defending itself from attacks since 1948.

Surely one is fighting for their perceived country and the other is fighting to retain what they were given by someone else who didn't consult the first party.

Actually it is probably all about water but that is much too boring a subject.
