Last year I had a TIA and I'm now on blood pressure tablets, anti clotting and cholesterol tablets. I arrived a couple of months ago with about 3 months worth of tablets, so I'm almost in need of topping up. Tried a couple of local pharmacies today but they don't stock what I need. Just wondering if there are any recommendations from you guys for the best place to purchase that kind of med in the Pattaya area. Determine the local names for your medications too .... or take some details so their pharmacist can help you with generics. There are a lot of medications on the Thai Govt. subsidized list that we can get too for good prices. It is possible to buy 3 months supply if you want. At Banglamung Public hospital it is only 200Baht for seeing a doctor. At Pattaya Hospital it is 500Baht. Both have good pharmacies. I know this is late, but I hope it helps. The Gastro Specialist at BPH wants me to get some tablets that they don't have, and Fascino or Fascistos, however you look at them, want 2000Baht for 30 tabs. For my sins, in a previous life I was in Procurement and so I shop around for prices for almost everything. Because I had already bought some 10mg from Boots, I pretty much knew Boots would be high end price and that's why i specifically asked her " are you sure about this"?
