webfact Posted June 15, 2021 Share Posted June 15, 2021 The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is now opening vaccination registration for its elderly population via the Mor Prom app, amid widespread indefinite postponements of appointments this week. People aged at least 60, living in Bangkok, can now register to be vaccinated at one of more than 100 large hospitals in Bangkok, which have been instructed by the BMA to prioritise them and arrange appointments on a first come first served basis. Deputy BMA Governor Police Lieutenant General Sophon Pisutthiwong said that, as the BMA has not received the expected amount of vaccines, its vaccine committee has agreed to prioritise groups of people to receive the limited amount of vaccines this month, with AstraZeneca being the main vaccine to be administered. I thought the registration process was already open for the elderly?
